ORIGINALLY POSTED BY HugBunter: I held off on posting while things panned out further but just wanted to provide an updated thread with what has been happening and information surrounding it, as well as some additional warnings.

DarkMatter exit scammed, while it was clear pretty early on and they did admit to it over a week ago now, I did try to manage this while the admins were still active to try and somewhat improve the outcome if possible, the asks I had of them were that they provide a copy of vendor stat data for preservation in the Recon database as well as trying to convince them to provide a substantial enough of the funds and a ledger of users owed money so some sort of retroactive share of funds to affected users could be possible. Its stupid to think any admin that would do this to their users would oblige, but its always worth an attempt even if clearly futile. They provided neither and BlackMask's laughable explanation and lack of accountability to try and solve his own guilt was downright pathetic.

Prime Market's situation is unclear, confusing and there's conflicting accounts of what has happened. The market went offline suddenly, including the vendor shops that Ace was apparently running for multiple vendors. Prior to that, there is evidence of him seemingly being worried of arrest without explanation and so, with nothing to back an exit scam (lack of any significant funds in the market) as well as recent addition to the Superlist, I believe something spooked him, or he fucked up somewhere in leaking something sensitive and took off with whatever he could there and then. If that wasn't an over reaction, he could have, or may be arrested in the future, who knows. Forgot to mention it, but regarding the extortion message that showed up on the Prime clearnet LDN, the consensus is that this was not Ace but rather his staff member that he had managing the site, trying to make a quick buck off the back of this, nothing to worry about.

As a result of vendor's losing their private shops to Ace's disappearance, many have scrambled to replace it wherever they can and rushed to random providers, specifically Torqon/OM, who were essentially removed from the community in the past when I hacked their server, I had no idea they were still around, but here we are and now they have exit scammed with what many would consider a good chunk of crypto. This is a warning that they have exit scammed and any shops under their control should not be used. The ones I am aware of right now are: simplesupplements and NordicMedTech, any others please make me aware.

Be wary of any issues with markets or vendors following events like this, vendors can often take this as their opportunity to call it quits too and try to recover any funds they lose to an exit scam, there can always be this knock on effect.

Keep ahead of things right now, be careful who you trust with your funds and stay safe.

More vendor shops ran by Torqon to avoid: /u/addyrus, /u/lsdexpress, /u/lapplisas, /u/evalena and /u/traplordatlantic (Although, traplordatlantic has now launched a new shop, its his previous one that should be avoided, just to be clear)
