WARNING: Tor.Taxi Still Displaying Dark Matter Links Seven Days After Confirmed Exit Scam

More than one week after Hugbunter confirmed on Dread that the Dark Matter market was exit scamming, disabling withdrawals while allowing deposits to continue flowing in, popular link aggregator tor.taxi still prominently features links to the disgraced market at the top of its market listings.
With only an easy to miss notice, that is mostly a defense of the market's freezing of funds; an orange line of text stating "PSA: Dark Matter's withdraws are delayed due to maintenance.", it seems that tor.taxi is helping bring in more users to the now confirmed exit scam.
This again illustrates why it is very important to choose where you find darknet links wisely, and to always verify the mirror you are using with PGP. Both removed links to the scamming market and issued a warning to users not to deposit funds as soon as the scam became apparent.

On September 8, 2026, Dread admin HugBunter confirmed that the large darknet market known as DarkMatter Market had stopped allowing crypto withdrawls, without disabling deposits, the telltale sign of an "exit scam" in process.
